Siblings Team Worker

We have an exciting opportunity to expand our Siblings Support Team!

Are you the dynamic, effective, independent professional we are looking for to join our team? Are you seeking a new challenge? Then you may be the person we are looking for.

You will need to have experience in working with children in a therapeutic capacity on 1:1 basis as well as experience in organising and facilitating activity groups for the children with a small team including volunteers, You will be an excellent and discrete listener and communicator. You will need to be self-aware and able to maintain a good home / work life balance. 

The sibling support team offers vital support to the siblings of patients using Helen & Douglas House services. The sibling support team is part of a wider team including family and bereavement support workers, social worker, youth and transition worker and outreach nursing, and work alongside the Care Teams to deliver integrated, well-communicated care and support to families’ pre and post bereavement. This is a Permanent, Full Time position (37.5 hours), and in return for your work we can offer you a competitive salary of £28,500 - £35,500 per annum, with an anticipated recruitment range of £28,500 - £31,000 per annuum.
